We welcome offers of help from our parents and other members of the community, but do ask that, where required, all volunteers undergo DBS checks relevant to the volunteering role.  In addition, we may ask you to come for a short discussion with the Headteacher to understand why you want to volunteer at our school.  This is to ensure that our commitment to safeguarding the children in our care is upheld and not compromised.
Our volunteers are valued members of our school and help us in many ways. Some come and hear our children read each week and others play maths games with small groups of children. We have some volunteers who periodically help with our outdoor learning sessions at Muddy Monday, Welly Wednesday or Forest Schools.
If you are interested in volunteering please come and talk to your child's class teacher, or contact the school office.
