NSPCC Buddy's Big Workout Fun Run

4th October 2016
Today the whole school took part in Buddy's Big Workout, a fundraising activity on behalf of the NSPCC. We held a fun run on the school field and tried to run as many laps as possible in thirty minutes.
The NSPCC came into school last week to deliver sessions for both Keystage 1 and 2, raising awareness of how children can keep themselves safe and how to get help if they feel they need it. Following these sessions the children were very keen to help raise money for the work the NSPCC does and to enable all children to recieve sessions in school.
It was a lovely sunny afternoon and all the children and staff did their best to go round the field as many times as they could. Many children were inspired by Mrs Landon who completed the Cardiff half marathon on Sunday!
