Welcome to Horse Chestnut Class
Horse Chestnut Class is a fun place to be. We work hard and play hard. We respect all members of our class and support each other. We enjoy learning in a variety of ways, as individuals, in pairs or groups and as a class. We make full use of all areas of the school to enhance our learning.
As the oldest members of the school we enjoy taking on new challenges and responsibilities. These include delivering and supporting whole school and class worships as part of the Worship Team.
Horse Chestnut Class is our upper Key Stage 2 class and is home to Years 4, 5 and 6. Mrs Roseblade-Bargh is the class teacher. She is supported by the class Teaching Partners, Mrs McCartney, Mrs Kift and Mrs Noad.
Our Theme this term is "Off With Their Heads" and we have planned lots of exciting learning related to this topic. We're looking forward to learning more about the different kings and queens of England and also crime and punishment throughout British history.
This term Year 5 has P.E with Progressive Sport on Monday and on Friday we all have P.E, again with Progressive Sport. On P.E days we should come into school in appropriate P.E kit.
