Class News

5th June 2020
School has looked very different again this week as we enter the next 'new normal'. We have more children in school with some of Class 1 and all of Year 6 returning as well as our Key Worker children. These are all in 'bubbles' and doing their best to socially distance whilst engaging in their learning.
Our other children continue to do amazing work at home and it's lovely to see everything they are doing.

This week Class 1 children have been sorting toys, experimenting with ramps, enjoyed being pirates and continued with their phonics, literacy and numeracy. In school they have enjoyed playing with their friends and spending time outside with the trikes and scooters.

Class 2 have begun their Roman theme by learning about the Roman invasions of Britain and about their roads. Lots of children have made their own roads in the same way as the Romans.
Class 3 have begun their Arabian Nights theme with some big questions and have also been designing and building zip wires for their toys.
Year 6 are settling back into class and enjoying being together again.
Our Key Worker children have moved to a new bubble in Class 2 and have been busy doing their home learning and also been keeping fit with P.E outside and with Joe Wicks and Cosmic Kids Yoga inside. They've also enjoyed playing the maze game and acting out Hannibal and his 37 elephants invasion of the Romans!
