Once the snacks were cooked the children evaluated them, commenting on their appearance, practicality as a 'snack to go' and taste!
As part of their Scrumdiddlyumptious theme Class 3 have been researching pastry 'snacks to go' that could be eaten on a school trip. They have looked at snacks available in shops and have questioned each other on their preferences, making charts of the data to help them design their own snack.
This week the children followed their own recipes to make their 'Snack on the Go'. They prepared the ingredients and cooked the snacks in school.
Everyone thought their snacks tasted delicious although some were a little fragile to eat on a school trip!
