Class 2 Mono Prints

25th May 2016
This morning Class 2 continued their art learning using leaves and mark making to create mono prints. This built on the skills they learned last week on how to charge their roller with ink and apply it evenly to get a good print.

This week they had to ink a plate (tracing paper) and apply leaves and make marks with various tools to create their design. They were then able to take a print. They soon discovered that mono printing meant that they could only get one print from their design, no two prints would be the same.

They experimented with different ways of making prints with the leaves and with using different coloured paper to change their design.

All this in just an hour! You are awesome Class 2!
