Year Six Artist Visit

5th October 2017
In art this term Year Six are designing and creating their own pig models to create a sculpture trail throughout the school. They have looked at sculpture trails held around the country and this week were visited by Araminta Fogden, a local artist who created a hare for the trail around Cirencester and outlying villages.
Araminta (Minty) shared pictures of her hare and talked about the process of designing and creating it. She also brought a variety of her art to show us and her sketchbooks. The children were able to discuss her development as an artist and to share their own sketchbooks and learning with her. They were inspired by her art to create some pictures of their own.
Thank you Minty for coming and sharing your work with us.
