Year 5 Computing

6th October 2016
In their computing lesson this week Year 5 have been learning about robotics and have used LEGO to build a rootic lion. Using their Scratch programming skills they designed and coded instructions to make the lion sit up and roar. They had to think about the direction the motor should turn, how much power it should have and how long it should run for. They then recorded lion sounds and coordinated the sound with movement.

If you have a chance come and see their lion roar. He is on the computing trolley by our back door.
