World Book Day

3rd March 2016
World Book Day began with a continental breakfast in the hall for all pupils and their families. We were astounded at the number of our families who joined us to share breakfast and a story.
Our Children and staff had all dressed as characters from a book and we all enjoyed guessing which characters they all were.
Class Two enjoyed guessing which characters they had in class today!
Class One and Three enjoyed shared reading this morning. They shared their reading books and favourite picture stories.
In numeracy Class Three enjoyed creating their own maths books for World Book Day. They chose an area of maths that they could explain and illustrate as a story or rhyme to share with Class One and Two. These included a number bond book, several chape books and counting books.
