The vacancy is for an experienced teacher to teach a mixed-age class. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, inspiring teacher, committed to ensuring at least good progress for all learners. They will be required to lead at least one curriculum subject and keen to work as part of the school and wider community. We are committed to continual professional development and will support your career development wherever possible.
The pupils in our school would like a teacher who is positive, encouraging and can enable them to achieve their best.
At our last Ofsted inspection in June 2014, we achieved a ‘Good’ grade with outstanding for pupil behaviour and safety. We are now continuing our journey towards ‘Outstanding’.
We can offer a welcoming team of staff who all care about the school and have a deep desire to make a difference to the lives of all pupils and families in our care. The school is situated in a rural setting with fantastic grounds and a forest school environment.
We are a Voluntary Aided school and achieved an overall ‘Outstanding’ grade at our last SIAMS inspection. The school is an integral part of the village of Westbury-on-Severn and we have strong community links with the village and the church.
