Class Three Home Learning

9th February 2016
Class Three's home learning this week was related to their class theme learning. They were learning about stone age people and Stonehenge and were asked to make a model of Stonehenge. These could be made out of any materials the children chose and they were encouraged to be creative.
We had some fantastic home learning come into school today with models made of a variety of materials including card, wood, matchsticks, boxes, sponges, lego and even a knitted Stonehenge.
By far the most popular materials were edible ones with a total of seventeen models being made out of marshmallows, chocolates, biscuits and cake. Great British Bake Off has nothing on Class Three!
Class Three enjoyed sharing their home learning and had so much cake that the whole school were able to enjoy 'an educational snack'.
